 Introduction |
 |
Tax is used in a large number of areas; while the people
of a country relax and make a living, tax is used to improve the environment,
bring abundance to life, protect the borders and bring security, improve
the roads, railways, ports, airports and others, as well as social
overhead capital in construction, education, environment, societal
welfare and others.
Taxation is used in this vital way to sustain a country, but until
now there has never been a comprehensive information hall or materials
hall to increase knowledge of taxation. For this the Museum of Taxation
has been opened in the building newly constructed next to the National
Tax Service to show various information on taxation to the people.
The Museum of Taxation shows the systems of taxation used from the
era of the Three Kingdoms and exhibits information by era with its
related historical events, along with books and research documents
related to taxation that have been collected.
Though until now information and materials on taxation have been scarce,
the Museum of Taxation intends to continue collection and restoration
of taxation related materials in order to increase the understanding
of the average person towards what taxation is about. |
