Seoul Mini Mountains: Reading the City from Its Voids
ㅇPeriod: November 5, 2024 (Tuesday) – February 9, 2025 (Sunday)
ㅇLocation: Lobby Exhibition Hall, 1st Floor
ㅇOverview:
This lobby exhibition, Seoul Mini Mountains, is a research initiative by Borio-Lab, led by Assistant Professor Géraldine Borio from the Department of Architecture at the University of Hong Kong.
Jointly curated with the Seoul Museum of History, this exhibition invites visitors to reexamine Seoul through its remaining “voids”—undeveloped spaces that shape the city's urban narrative and identity.
Through photographs and drawings, Professor Borio and her students showcase Seoul's unique topography by highlighting 24 undeveloped areas, conceptualized as "Mini Mountains." This exhibition offers a fresh perspective on interpreting and appreciating Seoul's landscape.
We warmly invite you to engage with and explore this unique portrayal of Seoul.
